80/20 Rule...

When people are taught how to run the MLM/Networking business model the right way they make the money they are desiring, and build a strong business. You see, the MLM industry is a 200 Billion dollar industry and is projected to grow to over 1 Trillion dollars in the next five years, so someone is doing something right. If you look at the industry from the 80/20 Rule you will see that 80% of the revenue is made by 20% of the people. This rule also lets you see that 80% of the people are only making 20% of the revenue. This is where the problems lies! The 80% are running it as a sales model instead of a teaching model and are failing.

Why are they failing? Because only 5% of the people in the world are sales people and 95% are not. Therefore when anyone learns about an MLM company being introduced to it from a sales perspective and then they join, thinking they can do it, they then try to follow the format that the person used that brought them into the business, they then realize that they have no desire to be a salesperson. They realize that they are not capable nor have a desire to hold meetings or take people to lunch and try to sell products. Most people have an aversion to sales! So they quit...

Then the person that brought them into the particular MLM company sees that people are quitting so they then find another company to represent, thinking that its the company that caused the problem, when in fact the problem lies in the simple fact that people were expected to sell. This may sound very simple, and it is.

The more complicated one makes this model the more difficult it becomes, and consequently the greater the failure rate.

Sponsor-Teach-Duplicate

The right way to build the business is to teach. When people learn and understand the MLM business model the way the 20% understand it and do it, then they realize that using sales will cause failure. Sales people don’t do well with this model since they think that all they have to do is sell and not educate. Teaching others how to teach others, is the only proven way to build a lasting business. It is a proven fact that teachers do very well in this business model.

Teaching people to learn how to teach other people is the way to build a prolific downline, but if you sell to other people you will build a horizontal line, and fail. Building down is the only way to duplicate your business. Now you have probably heard that before but are saying, “where do I find people”? That’s the easy part! The hard part is making sure that you teach each person how to teach each person, how to teach each person, how to teach each person. You hopefully get the point here...

Now how do you do that. Through proper coaching and learning leverage you will be able to have people build your business for you, all you have to do is get them started. But if you don’t understand this model you will not be able to teach others. If you are not making substantial income from the MLM/Network Marketing business you don’t understand this model.

Finding the people is the easiest part, but one that we keep for our coaching. Getting the right people is what can make or break your business. You want to teach people and have them teach others, but you can only do this with the right people. You don’t need a lot of people, just the right ones.

It’s not about LEADS, it’s about teaching! I can’t tell you how many emails I get telling me that I can get unlimited leads for my business. I even get phone calls from people making cold calls asking me “If I could show you how you can get 30 people per week to join your business, would that be worth 30 minutes of your time”? NO, NO, and NO!!! That is the 80% mindset... That is why people are failing in the MLM business. It’s obvious that they don’t understand what they are doing, since they are making the cold calls and I am not.

I would never put that many people in my business at one time, since I can’t teach and manage that many people at one time. It’s not fair to the people or my business. I have a friend who sponsored 190 people in five years and makes millions of dollars per year. It’s not about the quantity it about the quality. You want quality people...
